In addition, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs is open 24 hours, with 38,500 sq.ft., 1,589 slot machines, 36 table games, and four restaurants. There are many other popular Iowa gambling halls, which includes Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 slot machines, and 39 table games.

A smaller Iowa casino is the Diamond Jo, a riverboat gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 one armed bandits, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend river boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 slots, and 14 table games. Another Iowa water based casino, The Isle of Capri, is available never closes, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 slots, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot riverboat gambling den in Clinton, has 506 one armed bandits, 14 table games, live shows, and Thursday twenty-one events.

Iowa casinos offer an awesome deal of tax money to the state government of Iowa, which has allowed the bankrolling of many state wide projects. Tourism has grown at an accelerated percentage accompanied with the request for processors and a growth in working people.
